Sarah Gumm, LMSW

Board Member

After serving five years in the United States Marine Corps as an avionics technician, Sarah Gumm discovered her deeper passion—supporting and counseling her fellow Marines. Whether offering a listening ear or making breakfast in the barracks on Saturday mornings, Sarah cultivated a heart for service, connection, and community.

Following her military service, she relocated to Arkansas, where she met her husband, Beau Gumm. Through Sheep Dog Impact Assistance, Sarah found renewed purpose by participating in outdoor adventures that brought veterans together in healing and camaraderie. This experience led both Sarah and Beau to pursue careers in social work, eventually serving as officers of the Central Arkansas chapter at the request of Jeff Watts.

Sarah earned her Master of Social Work degree in 2020 and has since worked in private mental health practice. She and Beau co-founded The Arkansas Paint Project, a nonprofit aimed at community building and service through creative expression. Most recently, Sarah completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and launched Ego Free Yoga, a heart-led practice designed to integrate mindful movement and healing for those on their journey to wellness.

Sarah brings compassion, grounded leadership, and a commitment to service in all that she does, making her a powerful asset to the Rally Point community.
