The Community Response Team (CRT) is a volunteer program designed to support RPNC’s charitable and educational mission by providing immediate, organized, and mission-aligned assistance to communities, nonprofit partners, and populations in need. CRT activities include disaster response coordination, service project support, and resource mobilization and iis the primary program of the Prevail Mission Vector.
All CRT program leadership positions are led by Board-approved directors who are ICS-trained and FEMA-certified, ensuring that every initiative is conducted safely, effectively, and according to recognized emergency management standards.
We are committed to:
-
Rapidly mobilizing coordinated teams for disaster relief, crisis response, and public service events.
-
Supporting community stabilization efforts following natural disasters, line-of-duty deaths, or critical incidents.
-
Partnering with local, state, and nonprofit entities to deliver culturally competent, mission-ready support.
-
Offering meaningful, purpose-driven service opportunities for Rally Point volunteers and member organizations.
-
Building community resilience through presence, action, and trusted collaboration.
CRT exists to answer the call with Empathy, Respect and Humility because service doesn’t stop when the mission gets hard—it starts there.
The Community Response Team operations is conducted solely to advance RPNC’s 501(c)(3) exempt purposes. Volunteers and leaders receive no personal financial benefit. All program activities, funding, and leadership are approved and periodically reviewed by the Board to ensure compliance with IRS regulations, state nonprofit law, and RPNC governance policies.
