Mission Statement:

The Rally Point Legislative Advocacy Program exists to advocate for sound, mission-aligned public policy that strengthens support for military personnel, veterans, first responders, and the nonprofit organizations that serve them.

 

Led by the Director of Legislative Affairs, Zac Farley, this program engages with lawmakers, government agencies, and key stakeholders to shape legislation, secure resources, and remove barriers to service at the local, state, and federal levels.

 

We are committed to:

 

• Advocating for legislation that improves access to care, benefits, and support systems for our service communities

• Representing the voice of the nonprofit sector in discussions impacting mission delivery, funding, and operational standards

• Educating policymakers on the unique needs of culturally competent organizations serving veterans and first responders

• Tracking key legislation and regulatory developments that affect our member organizations and partner networks

• Mobilizing community input to ensure policy solutions are practical, effective, and grounded in lived experience

 

Through the Legislative Advocacy Program, Rally Point ensures that those who serve—and those who support them—have a strong, credible voice in the policymaking process.
