Building Capacity at Every Stage
Nonprofit 101
Every strong nonprofit starts with a solid foundation.
Nonprofit 101 provides emerging and established nonprofit leaders with a practical understanding of the fundamentals required to operate a charitable organization.
Participants learn about nonprofit formation, governance, compliance, financial responsibility, fundraising, public accountability, and the resources available to help their organization move forward.
The course is designed to help leaders understand what it takes to operate a legitimate, responsible, and sustainable nonprofit before taking the next step.
Impact Works Nonprofit Accelerator
Impact Works helps nonprofits move from understanding the fundamentals to putting them into practice.
This structured accelerator provides participating organizations with practical instruction, guided implementation, expert mentorship, and tools designed to strengthen the systems behind their mission.
Organizations work through foundational principles and develop policies and practices that support governance, accountability, sustainability, fundraising, and organizational growth.
The goal is not simply to teach nonprofit leaders what they should do.
It is to help them build the systems that allow their organizations to do it.
Nonprofit Community Resiliency Index
The Nonprofit Community Resiliency Index, or NCRI, provides a data driven view of nonprofit capacity and community resilience across Arkansas.
NCRI brings together nonprofit and community information across all 75 Arkansas counties to help identify strengths, gaps, needs, and opportunities within the state's nonprofit sector.
The goal is to turn information into useful intelligence that can help nonprofit leaders, community partners, funders, and policymakers better understand where needs exist and where collaboration and investment can make a difference.
NCRI is designed as a public good. Its purpose is to strengthen communities through better information, not to sell nonprofit data.

RPNC does not simply tell nonprofits to become stronger.
We build the knowledge, systems, relationships, and intelligence that help them do it.
Each program follows nonprofit sector best practices as outlined by Candid, BBB Wise Giving Alliance, and Charity Navigator, and is developed to comply with all applicable state and federal nonprofit laws, including IRS regulations for 501(c)(3) organizations.
This program is led by the Director of Nonprofit Training, a volunteer position currently vacant and open to qualified professional committed to serving others in a rewarding field.

Activities conducted through the Nonprofit Institute are classified under NTEE Code S50 (Public & Societal Benefit, Capacity-Building), pending IRS approval. All programs are mission-aligned and contribute to RPNC’s charitable objectives statewide.
Participation fees, if charged, are used solely to cover program delivery costs and further RPNC’s charitable mission. No individual officer, director, instructor, or staff member receives private benefit from these programs.
